This weirdness appeared at www.johntitor.us/index.htm sometime on or before 26 Apr 2005:

Due to reasons beyond the webmasters control this site is shut down. (Legal problems) This site receives about 4000 unique visitors a month. This domain is for sale for not less than $50.00. Domain goes to the most sincere bidder. Please submit all bids to editor@johntitor.com Pamela is a fraud. She is only in it for the money not the message. Just take notice that now there is money to be made, all of the sudden her "information" (which is also not true) has been verified. I knew John Titor personally, and still have the photographic evidence that I will be submitting across various boards of John and his father. I personally helped him modify his vehicles and spent many nights drinking orange wine and shooting the breeze. John never once talked of Pamela or any girl he met online. The video was destroyed. John informed me he could never come back. John also asked me to protect his family. I have missed him every since he left. You never really know. There is not a day that goes by I don't think of my friend. Veritâs Âequitâs John. Keep the message alive. P.S. As soon as I posted the pictures here I received a couple serious threats from unnamed sources and took them down. I will post them, even though I might possibly be jailed for life, so that you may know the truth.
